Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities will include….
- Perform all shipping and receiving duties to Aerospace Quality Standards
- Prepare molds and cloth packages for the layup room
- Manage stock levels
- Take ownership of general maintenance and scheduled workshop cleaning
- Workshop Health and Safety Audits
- Collaborate with the Production Manager and Technician on various shop projects
We will train! At HCC, fit is more important than experience. A training package will be tailored to the right candidate: your attitude and potential matter most to us.
Our ideal candidate for this role…
- Has a basic understanding of safe workshop practices
- Has forklift experience
- Brings some working knowledge of shipping and receiving.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Feels comfortable with various types of hand tools or hand-held power tools
- Has a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Has experience with general shop clean-up and maintenance.

Essential Qualities…..
- An understanding of safe workshop practices.
- A genuine interest in manufacturing/aviation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to lift 50 lbs and can stand for extended periods.
- Is comfortable working in an industrial factory environment with noise, dust, and chemicals.
- Will maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ready to embrace the work 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM work schedule, Monday-Thursday (with a 3-day weekend) at our facility located at Victoria Airport.
Nice to have:
- Related work experience in the aerospace or automotive industry
- Related shipping & receiving and experience.
- First Aid training
